On March 20, 2026, NRC Hi-tech Agriculture Investment Co., Ltd. (Nagri) – a member of NRC Corp. – and An Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Angimex) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking the beginning of a comprehensive and long-term partnership in developing the food and hi-tech agriculture value chain, while aiming to enhance the position of Vietnam’s agricultural sector in the international market.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Trinh Van Bao – CEO of NRC Corp. and Chairman of Nagri; Mr. Huynh Thanh Tung – CEO of Angimex, along with representatives from the leadership teams and specialized departments of both parties.

Amid increasing demands on quality, traceability, and sustainability in the agricultural sector, Nagri and Angimex have agreed to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership aimed at optimizing and enhancing transparency across the entire value chain—from cultivation and production to processing, distribution, and export. On that foundation, both parties aim to build a closed-loop agricultural supply chain aligned with international standards, thereby strengthening competitiveness and expanding growth opportunities in global markets.
Leveraging Angimex’s extensive experience in agricultural production and rice trading, combined with Nagri’s strategic focus on hi-tech agriculture, the two parties expect to effectively implement key pillars of cooperation, including: development of strategic raw material zones meeting international export standards; co-development of proprietary product brands for domestic and international markets; investment in and development of deep-processing facilities; establishment of logistics centers and export hubs in the Mekong Delta and other key regions; as well as promotion of technology cooperation and ESG initiatives for green transformation projects and other key programs. Through this partnership, Nagri and Angimex aim to build a transparent, sustainable, and fully integrated food supply chain that meets stringent global standards, while enhancing production efficiency and increasing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Trinh Van Bao – CEO of NRC Corp. emphasized: “We view the cooperation between Nagri and Angimex not merely as a commercial agreement, but as the starting point for building an integrated, modern, and sustainable agricultural value chain in the long term. When resources across raw material zones, technology, processing systems, and market networks are effectively connected, the agricultural value chain can operate more efficiently and transparently. This not only creates opportunities to enhance the added value of Vietnamese agricultural products, but also opens the door for deeper participation in global supply chains, gradually strengthening the position of Vietnamese enterprises in the food and hi-tech agriculture sector.”
Representing Angimex, Mr. Huynh Thanh Tung also shared: “Global consumption trends are increasingly shifting toward high-quality agricultural products with clear traceability and strong sustainability standards. In this context, the cooperation between the two parties will strengthen standardized raw material zones, enhance quality control capabilities, and optimize processing and export efficiency. These are critical conditions for developing high value-added product lines, elevating the value of agricultural products in the Mekong Delta, while expanding market access and improving adaptability in global trade.”
